KAUST SPE Student Chapter

Kaust SPE Student Chapter is a graduate student group at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, following the mission and vision of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 2011. SPE, the largest international individual-member organization, serves managers, engineers, students, scientists and other professionals within the Oil and Gas Industry. Around the world, the student chapters offer a variety of platforms to their members to enrich their fundamental knowledge and the chance to be part in frequently organized scientific programs, as well as social activities. Even though Oil and Gas Industry represents the main target, covering upstream, midstream and downstream divisions, the topics expand to the entire Energy Sector as well as touching environmental issues. All goals are geared towards creating a global network between students, institutions and professionals, which share a common motivation: to provide energy to the world.
