Kavalan Single Malt Whisky

Established in 2005 by the King Car Group, Kavalan is Taiwan’s first whisky distillery. The distillery is capable of carrying out every step of whisky production, from milling all the way through bottling. Located in Yilan, Taiwan, Kavalan whiskies are aged in intense humidity and purified by the meltwaters of Snow Mountain. A pioneer in Taiwanese single malt, Kavalan has amassed some of the spirits industry’s highest honours, including winning “World Whisky Producer of the Year” for 4 consecutive years at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) and “Distiller of the Year” at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC). In the prestigious World Whiskies Awards, Kavalan has also been crowned top titles including “World’s Best Single Malt” in 2015 and “World’s Best Single Cask Single Malt” in 2016.
