KAWAC's mission is to improve the quality of life of marginalized, visible minority groups within or outside Canada. KAWAC's specific program activities aim to bridge the socioeconomic divide by increasing women and girls' access to capital and capacity for more inclusion and participation in development.
We achieve this by support and empowerment( to address gaps in education, employment, or entrepreneurial skills. In addition, KAWAC promotes and creates awareness and access to technologies from a cultural perspective.
Community Care and Support

Work with a diverse range of people living with HIV and other key populations within the organizational structures and processes
■■involve stakeholders, including agencies of key populations and other affected communities, nonprofits and faith-based organizations working for and with these communities, government and parastatal institutions, traditional leaders, the private sector, donors, and international organizations, in all stages of the HIV programming process
■■ensure that structures and processes are designed to promote the equal and full participation of all stakeholders
■■identify capacity-building needs to promote the equal and full participation of stakeholders who lack experience and skills
■■identify and address other barriers to equal and full participation for minority and vulnerable populations .
• Gender Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (Different pieces of training, forums that increase employability skills, and advocacy for diverse gender inclusion and participation in decision making and leadership.
• Local Immigrants (Computer access appointments, drives, food vouchers, clothes, translations referrals.
