Kay Mason Foundation

A non-profit organisation focused on the alleviation of poverty through education. For the past 11 years the charity's main focus has been to provide disadvantaged children with scholarships to the best schools in South Africa, providing emotional and practical support as well as financial. The charity also has a boarding house in Khayelitsha for those children with the most difficult home situations. During 2010, the KMF initiated a project in the Eastern Cape, Lulutho, to implement a thriving community including an enterprise development school, business co-operatives and an eco-farmland to teach local adults to set up local, sustainable businesses.
