Kansas City Area Youth Jazz Inc. is a Kansas nonprofit public charity organization. Grant funding is pursued and used for strategic investments and arts integration. Current projects include: Artists Recording Collective; Bird Boot Camp; Jazz Artistry Now; and, Kansas City Area Youth Jazz. Youth Jazz was actually developed in 2018 (and started its first season in 2019) by Burnett Music Foundation (which formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2020) then in its 5th successful season has established itself as a 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit organization in 2023.
