KCM Consulting is a relative new company, having started in 2012, but with many years of experience. We started because of the need expressed by various clients, for support to fill short term positions, to provide experience, expertise, and train their staff; or when they lost staff until they could fill that position. These contacts (who later became clients) expressed that, due to the lack of expertise in specific areas of their company they had a need for expertise to train and coach their staff, provide standardization, and/or the need to get company and program initiatives up to speed in a short time frame. KCM Consulting consists of subject matter experts (SME’s) with years of hands-on implementation experience in developing process and procedures for PMO’s including Scheduling, Estimating, Change Management, Risk Management, Reporting Practices, Regulatory and Project Management. At KCM Consulting, we work to help our clients with short term project specific needs or long term program support needs. We can provide staff augmentation and expertise to fill an immediate gap due to critical workforce changes and because our experts have experience on multiple projects and with multiple clients we are able to provide role specific support quickly and effectively. At KCM Consulting, our understanding is that we are consultants, and you, our client, typically does not need us to fill a long term position within your company, but instead really need us to fill the gap until you can hire and backfill newly created or recently vacated positions. We are efficient and can quickly gather an understanding of your requirements, leading to a short learning curve and better productivity. At KCM Consulting we seek to provide consulting and expertise as needed by you, our client. We can work at your location as all our team members are comfortable “Road Warriors” or at our location to reduce expenses.
