Originally founded in 1945 by Karl Egger as a water, gas, and heating installation company, has grown from its humble beginnings in Austria to a globally recognised leader in the manufacture and distribution of durable plastic and metallic pipes. The local team is backed by a long-standing heritage and a reputation for exceptional quality and value. Globally, KE KELIT boasts a team of over 1000 employees, with manufacturing facilities or trading offices in over 30 countries. Since entering the New Zealand market KE KELIT has experienced exceptional growth and market acceptance. In 2015 the decision was made to expand on the products offered to the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning segment of the New Zealand Construction Industry. This has now come to fruition and 2017 sees the establishment of KE KELIT Climate Control that will operate in parallel with KE KELIT Innovative Pipe Systems.
