KelAda Pharmachem

KelAda Pharmachem Ltd. was established in Ireland to acquire and develop intellectual assets in the pharmachemical space. The company’s model is to in-license and develop novel chemistry into scalable processes which can then be out-licensed to major pharmaceutical players. This development is done by a team of chemists with many combined years experience of chemical process development and manufacturing. The company has been funded by a mixture of private equity and backing from the Irish government (through the state agency Enterprise Ireland). KELADA's team of world-class PhD chemists drives asset transformation across industries and have multiple active research activities focusing on: i) green chemistry process development; ii) Small molecule therapeutics; and iii) “Bio-Organic Pharming” – a term KelAda has coined to describe “the valorisation of underutilised biomass into biobased platform molecules and high-value bioactives” with applications in industry areas such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, fragrances, cosmetics and nutraceuticals. KelAda is actively seeking to build relationships with ambitious partners for mutually beneficial collaborative opportunities towards the commercialisation of revolutionary research.
