The best way to describe what we do is to share this quote. “If you don’t know where you‘re going, any road will take you there.” Cheshire Cat, Alice in Wonderland I would like to add clarity to this quote. The background to this line is from Alice in Wonderland. Alice has just left her interaction with the caterpillar and is scared. She comes to a fork in the road and begins to cry because the she doesn’t know which path to take. The Cheshire Cat then makes his first appearance, and asks Alice where she wants to go. She responds ‘anywhere but here,’ and the above quote follows. This simple quote has been a guiding principle for me as a sales professional, manager, and in my personal life. You will always end up somewhere, but whether or not it is where you wanted is up to you. That is why our first conversation will be about where are you trying to go, why do you want to go there, and what are the roadblocks. Ultimately, we will work together to develop your destination and the metrics to know that you have arrived. I believe the simplest approach is often the best way to start and then you build from there. I don’t use complicated words. I like to use examples, stories and quotes to solidify the message.
