Having been part of a corporate management team, with the full backing of corporate resources to develop strategic business units to meet the demands of their clients has been enlightening. In a growth environment funding projects with good merit was exciting for everyone involved. When the corporation went into survival mode getting just basic funding was difficult, adding equipment and production capability only at the expense of jobs through consolidation and insourcing. Presently I am working on a business plan to provide services at an affordable rate, to find companies within a 500 mile radius of my home office. To work with clients to maintain their machinery for optimum uptime and prevent untimely failures by repairing critical components before they fail. Also to work with the company's safety team to identify potentially hazardous conditions and take corrective action. Having a diverse background in the printing industry with an emphasis on offset web presses I hope to find companies that would benefit from my experience to help meet their goals.
