The Kelvin Ensemble is a student-run symphony orchestra and a registered charity based at the University of Glasgow, founded in 1991 by a group of students at Glasgow University. This provided musicians from across the University with the opportunity to perform classical music concerts under the direction of professional conductors.
The ensemble performs two concerts per year and gives students the chance to thrive in a music-making environment and together present exceptional performances open to the general public in amazing venues.
