About Kentron Microbiology
Kentron Microbiology is a Netherlands company that produces and markets specialty laboratory equipment with its focus on anaerobic microbiology, pharmacy and molecular cell biology. We distribute anaerobic chambers from Sheldon Mfg, Lab Armor Bead Baths and Cerillo's compact microplate reader. We produces ourselves the BioMax automatic anaerobic gassing system and a variety of anaerobic jars. We supply to the food-, medical- and pharmaceutical industry as well as R&D Centers, Universities and specialty laboratories, focusing on microbiology and genetic studies. We also look into tailor made solutions for these microbiology labs to make their day-to-day routine easier. The A-Box, the first square anaerobic jar for microtiterplates has been designed from such a project. From this project we were able to design a XXL version. This jar enables the Startus MicroPlate Reader to grow anaerobic and microaerophylic organisms on a microtiterplate.
