At Kerala Café, we believe that you can take the man out of Kerala, but you can’t take Kerala out of the man! Although our three founders—Gim, Justin, and Tanaraj—grew up in Mumbai, their hearts always remained connected to their Malayali roots.
In 2015, driven by a shared passion for their heritage, they embarked on an adventurous road trip down south to explore the culture and history of Kerala cuisine. What started as a journey of self-discovery ended up being the creation of something special—Kerala Café.
Their return from Kerala marked the birth of Kerala Café in 2016, with its first outlet in Vasai. What began as a small venture soon turned into a cultural revolution, offering much more than just food. Kerala Café became a place where people could experience the rich flavors, art, and culture of Kerala, all under one roof.
Today, Kerala Café proudly serves over 3 lakh guests annually through 4 outlets in Pune, Mumbai, Fort Kochi, and Bangalore. With numerous awards and accolades to our name, we’re just getting started.
