Kerala Electric Vehicle Alliance

The electric vehicle market is rapidly growing across the world, and India is no exception. In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in Kerala, a state located in the southern part of India. To promote the use of EVs and create a platform for collaboration and innovation, we propose the creation of the Kerala Electric Vehicle Alliance (KEVA), an association dedicated to promoting the adoption and use of EVs in the state. Objectives: The primary objective of KEVA is to promote the adoption of EVs in Kerala by increasing awareness and educating the public about the benefits of EVs. In addition, KEVA will work towards building a strong network of stakeholders in the EV ecosystem, including manufacturers, suppliers, policymakers, and consumers. KEVA will also provide a platform for collaboration and innovation, facilitating the exchange of ideas and best practices in the EV space. Activities: KEVA will undertake a range of activities to achieve its objectives, including: Awareness campaigns: KEVA will organize awareness campaigns to educate the public about the benefits of EVs, such as lower emissions, lower fuel costs, and reduced dependence on fossil fuels. Networking events: KEVA will organize networking events for stakeholders in the EV ecosystem, such as manufacturers, suppliers, policymakers, and consumers, to facilitate collaboration and exchange of ideas. Policy advocacy: KEVA will work with policymakers to advocate for policies that promote the adoption of EVs, such as tax incentives, charging infrastructure, and other regulatory measures. Research and development: KEVA will facilitate research and development in the EV space, promoting innovation and collaboration between industry and academia. Capacity building: KEVA will conduct training and capacity-building programs for stakeholders in the EV ecosystem, including mechanics, electricians, and other professionals.
