#Keready exploded onto the youth health scene during the Covid-19 pandemic, experiencing phenomenal growth and transforming the landscape in what has become a game-changer for youth health. By addressing the unique needs and communication preferences of youth this breakthrough new strategy has generated unprecedented demand for information and services by young people. Keready isn't just a solution; it's a revolution in youth health delivery. Bridging the communication gap and offering accessible services Keready is setting a new standard for empowering young people to prioritise their health. At Keready, communication is key. We believe in transparency and relatability. No jargon. No filter. No judgement. We connect with young people on their terms, using language and platforms they resonate with. We use social media tools to engage with young people, including: •⁠ ⁠Reels on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook (@kereadysa) •⁠ ⁠Instagram and TikTok Lives with guest doctors •⁠ ⁠Podcasts •⁠ ⁠YouTube Channel with video casts •⁠ ⁠WhatsApp A Doctor - (060 019 0000) - Users can ask any health-related question for free. By providing health information in an unfiltered manner, Keready builds credibility and trust among young people. We are committed to breaking down barriers to healthcare access and empowering youth to take charge of their well-being. Our fleet of 46 mobile health clinics brings primary health care services directly to young people aged 12-34 years old. The mobile clinics operated in the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Western Cape, offering screening, testing, family planning, immunisations and treatment. Our mobile health clinic teams comprised of Young doctors, Professional nurses, Enrolled nurses, Drivers, Communicators and Mobilisers. Keready is a pilot project implemented by the DG Murray Trust in partnership with the National Department of Health, and is funded by the German government through the KfW Development Bank (KfW).
