About Kern Coalition

The State of California is dispersing a total of $600m in COVID relief funds across 13 regions over the next few years. These funds are designed to support the creation of good quality jobs across California. The Kern Coalition is working to develop a regional plan for inclusive economic and workforce development to apply for CERF funds. This includes reaching out to the community, conducting research, holding meetings open to the public for input and ideas, and finally, submitting proposals for consideration to the State of California.
