We make clonal wines in the cool climate of Elgin in the Western Cape, South Africa by Richard J Kershaw - Winemaker & South Africa's first winemaking Master of Wine
Using his knowledge and experience Richard guides and coaxes the very best from the wine grapes. He must coerce and cajole the nuances of each vintage from the grapes and let them express themselves to their fullest potential in the glass. This is achieved by using his knowledge and all the tools at his disposal to fine-tune the wine. Richard believes that by applying these principles the wine displayed in the glass will be a true reflection of what is in the vine and soil.
The current range includes Kershaw Elgin Clonal Selection Chardonnay 2012 and a soon-to-be-released Kershaw Elgin Clonal Selection Syrah. As our wines have limited availability we have a Clonehead Club which enables members to have priority when purchasing and reserving allocation. Please see our website for more information.
