Keshav Thakur is a law graduate from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University, who completed his higher secondary school at The Lawrence School Sanawar, Shimla Hills, Himachal Pradesh. He received a Killed-in-Action Scholarship from the Defence Ministry, which reflects his commitment and dedication to serving his country. Keshav Thakur Advocate has been in practice since the year 1994 at the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi, J&K High Court and has handled numerous matters in the Civil Side, TADA case in J&K, and cases under the Indian Penal Code and other Special Acts dealing with Civil Appeals and Revision, Civil Writs, Arbitration cases, Recovery cases, Industrial Disputes before the Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court. Keshav Thakur has vast professional experience for the last 28+ years. Mr. Thakur also represented the Government of India including the Railways and the CBI for eight years. Keshav Thakur has been appointed to the Legal Panel of The VOC Port Trust, Cochin Port Trust, Willingdon Island, and the New Mangalore Port Trust wherein he has taken favorable orders from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. At times legal opinions from the Learned Attorney General or the Solicitor General have been taken wherein financial/economic / Legal aspects have been involved and saving the Port Trusts from incurring heavy financial losses. Keshav Thakur Advocate has achieved several landmark judgments that have brought justice to our clients. One of our significant achievements includes a landmark judgment on Arbitration passed in favor of the Port Trust pertaining to the public exchequer of 4,500 crores in PSC SICAL V/s The Board of Trustees V.O Chidambaranar Port Trust.
