In 2004, Ken Nercessian started Kettle Corn NYC at a street fair with a pop-up tent and a popping kettle, while working as a Chef at The St. Regis Hotel. What began as a weekend venture has grown into a busy online business, concessions at New York hotels, colleges and sporting arenas including Barclays Center, and three food trucks serving up Kettle Corn NYC’s 15 hand-popped flavors to truck patrons. The company relocated to Albany, New York’s Capital District in 2020 because of Covid.
