Keurpunt

Keurpunt is a FASFC-approved inspection center in the Port of Antwerp. Operators can make use of Keurpunt's facilities for the import inspection of FFV goods (fresh fruits and vegetables), nuts, grains, and seeds. Packaging wood and wood bundles can also be inspected at Keurpunt. Starting from October 21, 2024, veterinary goods such as fish, meat, honey, biscuits, and pet food can also be inspected at Keurpunt. Keurpunt is Bio-certified. Therefore, inspections and sampling by Bio Vlaanderen, whether or not goods are held, can take place at our facilities. Goods held by FASFC, Customs, the Flemish Community, or Bio Vlaanderen will be stored for you in regular storage, cold storage, or quarantine. FASFC inspections for the export of goods such as logs, herbs, etc., and export formalities are also facilitated by Keurpunt. We conduct inspections, under the guidance of FASFC, for all products eligible for physical, phytosanitary, quality, and veterinary control, as well as products subject to the GDB regulations. Keurpunt offers its services from 6 AM to 10 PM, provided that clear prior arrangements are made with government agencies. We enable smooth inspections following the "STOP & GO" principle. We provide assistance and keep you informed about the progress of the inspection.If a gas measurement is required, Keurpunt will carry out the measurement independently, in collaboration with a certified gas measurement company, to ensure the best service. You don’t need to arrange anything yourself. You won’t incur extra charges during early or late hours, nor will you face higher costs due to delays if your container arrives late. Keurpunt will measure the container as soon as it arrives, allowing FASFC and/or customs inspections to begin on the spot. We strive to provide the best service. Your success is our success!
