Keys To Effective Learning

Keys to Effective Learning is a Canadian-Egyptian education company specializing in practice-based teacher and administrator training as well as the training of trainers. Our goal is to provide a richer educational experience for children and a more fulfilling practice for educators and trainers. With offices in Ontario, Canada and Cairo, Egypt since 1995, Keys to Effective Learning has participated in several USAID-sponsored educational reform programs; Technology for Improved Learning Outcomes (TILO), Girls’ Improved Learning Outcomes (GILO), the Egypt Education Reform Project (ERP), the Alexandria Initiative for Education Reform, and the Technology in Education Project with Partners for a Competitive Egypt (PfCE). Keys has conducted three Short Term Assistance Projects under USAID’s IIE-STEP Program providing assistance and building the capacity of the Ministry of Education to implement training of Teachers and Supervisors across Egypt. We have partnered with the International Institute for Education (IIE) to develop and implement training in youth leadership, women’s entrepreneurship and administrator selection programs sponsored by the U.S. State Department, the Ford Foundation, the Stewart Foundation, the Bahrain Ministry of Education and provided training for teachers in the United Arab Emirates. Keys is now partnered with the Educational Development Center (EDC) on USAID’s Teach for Tomorrow (T4T), a four-year project which aims to sustainably improve primary-level teacher practice through effective professional development.
