KGAP+ (Keihanna Global Acceleration Program Plus) is a 3-month acceleration program organised by ATR (Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International), a leading research institute of the Keihanna Science City in Kyoto, Japan. The program is designed to support selected innovative startups in establishing fruitful collaborations with reputable organisations in Japan through conducting proofs of concepts or pilot tests.
Since launching in 2019, KGAP+ has welcomed a total of 117 startups from 13 countries over the cause of 8 batches. With its extensive network, the program has achieved an impressive matching rate of 72%, allowing the majority of participating startups to initiate collaborations with potential partners and investors. The remarkable satisfaction rate of 4.5 out of 5 indicates the program's success in meeting and exceeding participants' expectations.
