Khamisa Foods is an Agro processing company that provides market for farmers produce within Mpigi and Butambala districts currently specialising in Ginger, Tumeric, African Bird Eye Chilli and Hass avocado. The farmer produce is processed into Ginger powder ( Royal Spice Ginger), Turmeric powder ( Royal Spice Tumeric) and Chilli powder which is sold within the country in supermarkets and is also exported to Kenya and Burundi.
The Hass Avocado is sorted and packaged for export to Burundi where it is aggregated for further export to the U.S.
Because of this, our outgrower farmers are able to fetch premium prices for their produce for the betterment of their standard of living and welfare.
