Khmelnytskyi National University

Khmelnytskyi National University (KhNU) is a classical university that offers education programs in the classical spectrum of subjects, including law, the humanities, natural sciences and teacher training. KhNU provides a broad range of education programs instead of focusing on just one academic area. It offers 126 Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Philosophy degree programs in 43 specialities. Nearly seven thousand students study at the university. KhNU is a known information technology development centre and a pioneer of the first distance learning programs in Ukraine. Khmelnytskyi National University is a well-known educational, scientific and cultural centre in Ukraine and abroad. It has 11 educational, research and production centres, which include various levels of educational institutions and enterprises, 24 research schools, graduate and doctoral studies, three permanent specialised scientific councils for the defence of dissertations and obtaining the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science. The university publishes eight scientific journals.
