Khoyoot - Threads Initiative

Threads Initiative is an innovative business idea that focuses on creating partnerships with women from refugee camps. It aims is to empower women to create art while preserving culture and participating fully in the economic and social makeup of the community. Every product line from Threads Initiative supports a different segment in the camp. The first product line was Kashkashet Biladi. Women embroider girls’ outfits and use the funds to purchase outfits for girls in the camp. Future projects will fund educational initiatives to integrate the camp in the wider Jordanian society.
