The aim of Kidscatchup is to assist learners with listening, speaking, reading and writing confidently using the English Language. The programme aims at helping learners to become effective readers and writers. Help Readers who cannot understand the English Language with the basic skills The skills are as follows:
1. Phonic and word recognition.
2. Drawing and writing letters and words.
3. Oral comprehension.
4. Spelling words. – Flash Cards / Alphabet Freeze / Number Freeze
5. Reading alphabets words and sentences. 6. Written comprehension.
7. Copying and writing own sentences.
These skills have a strong link to ensure that fluent readers and writers are developed.
Our mission is to promote reading and writing for all learners, and to bridge the literacy gap between learners of different backgrounds.
