Kief Type Foundry

Kief is an independent type foundry founded by type and graphic designer Mohamed Gaber, aiming to produce high-quality libre Arabic fonts besides offering all exclusive type design services to our clients. Gaber as a self-taught type and graphic designer, I believe knowledge should be accessible. This is why we also aim to publish articles about the technicalities of Arabic type design that will be available on our blog. Some of the fonts we are producing will be published as open-source libre fonts, meaning we will be sharing the source files of the fonts, which I believe would offer guidance to part of the Arabic font production process.
