K I K U 菊 aims to promote, the fundamentals of the Florticulture industry in Sri Lanka. Dissecting Shirohana’s traditional core brand values and implementing them throughout the design, allows for KIKU to become a lifestyle brand. The scope of this will encompass new collaborations and a platform for plant-based knowledge. The concept will be emphasized through Japanese inspired decor, both in bold, traditional, and organic tones. With the use of local Sri Lankan materials, the furniture and dining sets will be commissioned with the intent of future sales within stores. The Eatery would be represented by a vibrant palette, thus celebrating the exuberant tones of Japan. It will act to preserve the cultivated ethos, whilst also presenting a sophisticated twilight of ingredients. Creating a dining experience where the flowers become a feature to the menu, and table service which educates diners into how and where the food has been made and sourced.
