The Kilali "Precious Jewel" Tribe is a group of Niger Delta women who have come together to support women in the Niger Delta area via peer learning, professional education, conferences, capacity-building projects, networking, and mentorship. We offer knowledge and guidance to women inside the community.
As part of our contribution to attaining SDG 5 - Gender Equality, The Kilali Tribe believes that Niger Delta women should have the chance and platform to advance professionally and prosper in all sectors of the economy.
In recent years, we have made strategic investments and plans to teach, develop, and mentor women throughout the Niger Delta to strengthen our country's economic and social contributions. In support of these actions, we organize a conference as a common platform to bring women from across the Niger Delta together once a year to learn and share knowledge, allowing us and other phenomenal women an opportunity to achieve greater success in navigating internal and external business terrain. According to studies, peer mentorship and networks play an important role in allowing both men and women to thrive in the workplace.
