About Kyoto University Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Law and Policy (KILAP)
Established under the Kyoto University Graduate School of Law in 2021, KILAP's mission is to address the paradigm shift in societal systems brought about by emerging technologies, rapid globalization, and changes in the global environment. We aim to propose law and policy concepts that support human-centered innovation, ensuring no one is left behind, through interdisciplinary and international research on cutting-edge law and policy issues, where theory and practice work in collaboration.
