Kindernothilfe Luxembourg was founded in June 2009 with the objective to help children in disadvantaged areas of the world, and has been officially recognised by the state of Luxembourg as a non-profit organisation (NGO).
We protect, support and enhance the prospects of children living in the poorest regions of the world. The people involved in providing help must be aware of local traditions. Therefore we work exclusively with experienced local partners. Education is one of the most important factors we consider, as it promotes autonomy. As an independent Luxembourgish organisation, we are working on an international basis with Kindernothilfe in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This gives us access to a common network of experienced partner organisations.
