Kindle Hill Foundation is a qualified 501c3 nonprofit that provides discounted and pre-funded services to a variety of clients, including first responders, teachers, adolescents, and other individuals seeking improved mental health. Equine assisted learning and therapy present a fresh, hands on modality to learn about the world of horses, and how they can enlighten us about our relationships and our self-care. As a participant in one of our programs, you will learn new skills in empathy, negotiation, and partnering, as well as nuanced nonverbal communication. You'll feel your heart rate, respiration, blood pressure and cortisol levels gradually decrease, as you safely connect with these gentle animals. You'll learn to rewire your brain, as you experience the tactile sensation of grooming, and its calming effect on your mind and body.
