Since 1994 Kingdom Access TV has been providing programming and resources for community cable television in the St. Johnsbury Vermont area. With an all-volunteer board of directors, and only three full time staff persons. KATV is established as 501(c)3 VT non-profit. Although small administratively, KATV has a very broad range of PEG (public, educational, governmental) programming and many other resources available to the community. Our non-profit organization will not carry commercial advertising nor be influenced by political or commercial enterprise. The idea from the beginning has been ‘community TV - by and for the community’. KATV is an approachable member of the area we serve and is called frequently on or at service of municipalities, schools, area institutions - not to mention - the very active subscribers for cable TV in the region who wish to become producers on Channel 7.
