What began as a home-based venture during the challenging times of the pandemic has evolved into a remarkable success story, marked by a food truck at Barking Market and a commitment to delivering exceptional BBQ experiences that resonate with every bite. What We Do: Event Catering: We make your events special with our delicious BBQ. From parties to work gatherings, we've got you covered. Festival Fun: Catch us at local festivals, serving up amazing BBQ that you won't forget. We've been a hit at the Halal Food Festival and events at universities like UCL. Easy Ordering: Our East London spot is where you can get our tasty BBQ. You can also order from us – we deliver and you can pick up too. Bringing Culture to You: We're not just about BBQ. We also bring the flavours of East Africa to you by importing and exporting Swahili snacks from Zanzibar, Tanzania. Community Involvement: We're more than just food. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we extended a helping hand to our NHS heroes by donating food. We believe in giving back to the community that supports us. Our Journey: The idea was born during a COVID-19 lockdown, aiming to bring a sense of home through the taste of East Africa. From these small beginnings, KINGOFBBQ has become a local favourite. “RAFIKI” means freind in Swahili, and that’s exactly how we see our customers - as part of our KINGOFBBQ family.
