Kingston Holdings was established in 1996 and is head quartered at the industrial capital of the UAE, Sharjah International Airport Free Zone (SAIF Zone). The company million-square-foot beautifully landscaped grounds include three manufacturing units, a large regional logistics complex and an environmentally friendly luxury office space. In its quest to forge ahead with its strong growth rate, Rexton, the flagship brand of Kingston Holdings FZC has acquired the Clipsal factory at Saif Zone, Sharjah. With multiple business arms, Kingston Holdings is involved in manufacturing, regional distribution, third-party logistics, headhunting, smart home solutions, advertising, media promotions and project development. The manufacturing facility in Sharjah produces about 1,200 products. All are tested to international standards, IEC and BS. Furthermore, all manufacturing units are ISO certified. Major UAE customers of the manufactured products include Dubai International Airport, Dubai Metro, Emaar Properties, Dubai Properties, Emirates airline, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA). The products are also used for government projects in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. There is also a growing customer base in India and the subcontinent region. Kingston Holdings also operates in a diverse range of high-end product categories, all under one roof. The group’s product portfolio includes heating, ventilation, household appliances, home security, lighting, cable management systems, solar heating and lighting, metal enclosures, data storage and personal care products. Brands manufactured by Kingston Holdings include Rexton, Dimplex, Xpelair, Morphy Richards, Burco, GP batteries, Pierlite, Clipsal, Belling stoves, Britannia, Galaxy, Redring, EIC, LEC, Schreiber Chillers, Nobo, Faber, Wonderfire Premier, Masport, Valor, Glen, Riedel, Creda, Roberts Radio, Carmen, AKO. Operations span 120 countries and regions including the Middle East, India and the subcontinent, Africa, Europe, Canada and the U.S. Kingston Holdings international partnerships include Pierlite Middle East, Rexton Technologies Middle East, GP Battery Marketing Middle East, Glen Dimplex Middle East and Xpelair India. The other operations include Forshore India Pvt Ltd, Rexton Automation India Pvt Ltd, Kingston Management Consultants, and Highland Retail. The group business is currently growing rapidly and it expects to achieve a fivefold growth in the next three years. Mr. Lalu Samuel is Chairman and Managing Director of Kingston Holdings and holds several important posi-tions. Samuel is the elected chairman of Sharjah Industry Business Group, which functions under the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Indian Business & Professional Council in Sharjah. And Samuel is a member of the permanent trustees of India Trade & Exhibition Centre. The group and Lalu Samuel have won several awards in re¬cent years. The company received the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award in March 2008. The group also won an award for Manufacturing in UAE Economic Excellence Award, as well as the Best Industries in the Major Industries Category both from SCCI. On 3rd June 2006, Kingston Holdings was named Best Company by SAIF Zone. It also received the NRI Institute award for Industrial Leadership at the House of Lords London.
