Kinnections Foundation company information, Employees & Contact Information

Kinnections is a transformative nonprofit founded by Rice University Electrical Engineering undergraduates Emmie Casey and Tomi Kuye, dedicated to revolutionizing Parkinson’s Disease treatment with an innovative, low-cost vibrotactile glove. By leveraging cutting-edge research from Stanford University, our glove delivers therapeutic, randomized vibratory stimuli designed to resynchronize misfiring neurons—a root cause of Parkinson’s symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, and impaired motor control. Our design replaces expensive, bulky components with smartphone-grade vibration motors integrated into each fingertip of a comfortable, wireless glove, offering a non-invasive treatment alternative that patients can use in the comfort of their own homes. To ensure affordability and accessibility, we offer our kit at a competitive price of approximately $250 and have implemented a sliding-scale pricing model for those in need. Additionally, we have published an open-source guide so that enthusiasts worldwide can build their own version. With limited pre-orders now open, Kinnections is gearing up to ship its first batch by year-end. As we work closely with research institutions and regulatory bodies for clinical trials, our mission remains clear—empowering Parkinson’s patients to reclaim control of their lives by putting effective treatment literally in their hands.
