Kinya Connect

Kinya Connect is a program bridges the gap between international students at ALU and the Rwandan community by addressing language and cultural barriers. Our program provides weekly Kinyarwanda language classes taught by native speakers, complemented by cultural awareness sessions. Over 11 weeks, participants will develop basic conversational skills and gain insight into Rwanda’s values, history, and customs. The program culminates in an experiential cultural tour to immerse students further in the richness of Rwandan culture. Kinya Connect fosters meaningful interactions, helping international students integrate smoothly into the community and build lasting connections.
