KIRAKA'S is a fashion sustainability initiative based in Kigali. Kiraka is a Swahili term meaning patch, which is a piece of cloth that is skillfully stitched to a damaged piece of cloth to conceal the rip. We picked this as our brand name because it represents our mission to reconstruct the fashion industry and build a more sustainable future. The firm bridges the gap between fashion businesses and sustainability. KIRAKA's objective is to develop sustainable fashion solutions that decrease environmental impact and encourage a circular economy. We work with Rwandan fashion firms to make them more sustainable by bringing creativity to the table by revamping textiles from leftovers, reusing, and rejuvenating clothing. We endeavor to provide fashionable, high-quality products.
