Kiran Martin died as the result of a brain tumour in May 2008, aged 18 years old. Kiran's Trust was registered with the Scottish Charity Regulator by Kiran's family in October 2009.
The charity is set up with the following charitable purposes:
The Advancement of Education and The Advancement of public participation in sport.
These are put into practice by helping young people to develop and achieve success in our chosen subjects of the Creative Arts (Art & Design, Music, Writing) and Sport. Our scholarships start at £50 and go up in increments of £50 to £300. So your pound is a very valuable step in that direction.
Even though Kiran is no longer with us in body she will live on in spirit and mind and with love. This charity is an enduring legacy in her name.
