Kiran

Kiran is a social welfare application created by a few college students to better connect blood donors and patients in immediate need of blood. Historically, Meta platforms have been utilized to seek blood donors, but they're often inefficient, not enough and fall victim to the bystander effect. With intelligent notifications, user friendly interface, and subtle interventions, Kiran aims to bridge the gap between donors and patients faster and more effectively. The app connects users directly based on proximity and urgency, ensuring quicker response times and easing the pressure on hospitals and families during critical moments. Kiran also aims to integrate incentives for donors through partnerships with local businesses, offering small rewards as a thank you for their life-saving contributions.
