The Kirloskar group was founded in the year 1888 by the late Mr. Laxmanrao Kirloskar and has a rich engineering heritage of over 130 years. Over more than a century, Kirloskar brand has earned customer confidence for reliability of its products and services. Kirloskar Group has been active in the Middle East and Africa since the 1960s. A need was continuously felt to establish an identity in the region and to go closer to the end customers as well as the channel partners in the region. Kirloskar Middle East FZE (KMEF) was founded in November 1996 with the objective of further improving response to customers’ requirements. KMEF was incorporated as Free Zone Establishment in Ajman Free Zone located in Ajman Emirate of United Arab Emirates. In 2013, we further expanded our set-up by establishing Kirloskar DMCC (erstwhile KJLT) in Dubai. During the past 20 years, Kirloskar DMCC has developed an impressive set-up for marketing and after sales service. Kirloskar DMCC carries stock of Air cooled Diesel Engines, Air cooled Generating sets and Refrigeration Compressors as well as Spare parts at our Ajman warehouse. The stocks are utilized by channel partners to meet urgent delivery requirements. It also reduces their transaction costs. Kirloskar DMCC is distributor in UAE of these products. This helps Kirloskar DMCC to be aligned with the market realities. New products are being introduced such as Refrigeration Systems, Gas Compressor Packages, Centrifugal and Screw Chillers, Diesel Engines for Fire Fighting Pumpsets, K-Oil, Solar and Bio-gas energy solutions etc. Kirloskar DMCC caters to its markets and customers through an active network of channel partners in the MENA region. Kirloskar DMCC has also expanded the customer base through quick response, proactive approach and effective after sales service. Kirloskar DMCC is endeavoring to adopt the best business practices. It was awarded the coveted ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications in 2011.
