The Kites Platform builds and maintains millions of data fields for over 100 thousand local businesses in Asia. Aggregation Kites collects raw data from publishers, government agencies, and local businesses. Our platform has automated tools to extract both unstructured and structured data from hundreds of sources in real time. This data is instantly translated and canonicalized into Global Location Format: a universal data format designed by Kites's engineers. Enrichment Kites' service-oriented architecture allows us to leverage both proprietary and third-party technologies to clean, organize, and enrich our data. For example, KitesPostal improves geocoding accuracy by semantically analyzing full addresses to structure them into premise, street, and district components. Reconciliation Kites merges, deduplicates, and maps our data across multiple sources. Our platform's reconciliation process ensures each place has accurate data for as many attributes as possible, while flagging inconsistencies and other statistically unusual activities that warrant investigation.
