KivuLabs is an open, community-owned, co-working hub for young tech entrepreneurs in eastern DRC, where entrepreneurs, freelancers, and startups can share a collaborative environment to drive success in their businesses. We offer access to incubation training to upcoming startups, mentorship, funding through our partners and access to the large network of entrepreneurs in Butembo through meetups and communities that we have founded. We opened doors in 2022 with an aim of improving the entrepreneurship ecosystem and we believe that we exist to support technology startups and entrepreneurs. We are missioned to achieve this by: Providing a co-working space for entrepreneurs. Running entrepreneurial workshops. Hosting events that are aligned with the ecosystem. Implementing Projects that are aligned to the vision of harnessing more entrepreneurs in DRC. Running Programs and skill development for young people venturing into technology. KivuLabs aims to ensure quality education, develop a digital culture among young people and train entrepreneurs and innovators. All of this has the effect of enabling them to considerably strengthen their chances of success, to create lasting and job-generating businesses and to put them into networks in order to pool their experiences and resources. people aware of entrepreneurial culture in all its forms by using innovative methods to help entrepreneurs mature their projects. Educate young people in the proper use of ICTs, and contribute to the development of digital culture. Also to advise, train and support the actors of socio-economic and digital development in DR Congo and finally to create a solid network throughout the national territory to promote gender, civic engagement, the circular economy and adaptation to climate change in order to contribute to the economic development of DRC.
