Ziel von KIWERTa ist die Ausweitung und Verbesserung des Anbaus von Kichererbsen in Brandenburg sowie die Etablierung einer oder mehrerer Wertschöpfungsketten von der Erzeugung über die Verarbeitung bis zum Handel und zur Gastronomie in Berlin und Brandenburg. Im Mittelpunkt des Projektes stehen regionale Betriebe entlang der WSK, mit denen zu verschiedenen Fragen der Bereitstellung, Verarbeitung und Verbreitung von Kichererbsen gearbeitet wird und die untereinander in Austausch gebracht und dauerhaft miteinander vernetzt werden.
