Kiyary

What if we can change the world? What if we can bring a closer connection to nature by how we see the world? Kiyary (Peru, 1987) is an Artist, Painter and Storyteller, with unquenchable curiosity who focus on editorial illustration, trying to post the "why" question in her work, always searching new techniques and solutions to different problems. Traits such as Mestiza, Immigrant and Woman have created a path on her work, leading her to ask questions about equality and human rights. Her passion for art can only go hand on hand with her passion for justice and her intrinsic love of nature and the wild, thus her work will try to evoke the natural world and pinpoint the need of connection. Another one of her artistic ventures is to paint landscapes on location, hiking and climbing high mountains, crossing rivers and sometimes oceans, in order to find the perfect location away from society and commodities just to connect to nature and thus capture that moment on a painting.
