Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), through the Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa) and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), which will become the Directorate of Research and Community Service as of August 1, 2024, is once again organizing the Karsa Desa Community Service Program (KKN-D).
The Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) is being carried out in Parungbanteng Village, Sukasari District, Purwakarta Regency. This initiative will be implemented from August 6, 2024, to August 27, 2024, featuring 18 main programs distributed across three sub-villages.
The opening ceremony for KKN-D was held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Sasana Budaya Ganesa (Sabuga), attended by ITB's Rector, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D. Following this, the inaugural activities for KKN-D commenced on the same day at the Pendopo of Purwakarta Regency, West Java.
The program will focus on several themes, including infrastructure, sanitation, tourism development, clean water, business, energy, irrigation, agriculture, and institutional development.
