In February of 2005, Katie L. Greer began developing an Internet safety program to deliver to Massachusetts students. The Corruption, Fraud and Computer Crime Division of the Attorney General’s Office was inundated with requests for school presentations, and Katie rose to the challenge of expanding the existing program she created. Due to the increasing demands for technology/Internet safety education presentations, Katie built her programs into a consulting business, teaching four different presentations spanning grades K-12, tailoring each presentation to accommodate the developmental and emotional differences in each age group. In addition, she instructs parents, teachers, college students, administrators, and law enforcement officials on Internet safety and issues surrounding technology. Katie travels the country speaking on issues of technology and Internet safety education, and was featured in both CNN and in Vanity Fair Magazine. Katie has presented to over 300 schools, organizations, and conferences (law enforcement and otherwise) in the past 5 years.
