The idea behind KLAR learning resources was born in the fall of 2018. The founders of KLAR Kompetanse are Hilde Vikse and Rhonda Helen Nes Lothe. KLAR Kompetanse offers innovative and effective learning resources that support the development of vocational skills needed in education and the workplace. Our products—KLAR app, KLAR resource bank, and KLAR competence package—are designed to meet the needs for skills, communication, and inclusion in vocational education. We emphasize quality, accessibility, and user-friendliness to make learning easier and more efficient, no matter where it takes place. More than 38,000 students, apprentices, and participants have access to the KLAR app. What is the KLAR app? The KLAR app is a flexible digital language support tool designed to assist apprentices, trainees, refugees, multilingual adults, and employees by facilitating a more tailored, inclusive, and vocationally oriented education. The goal is to provide users with access to a flexible language support system they can use during training, at home, in internships, and in the workplace. The KLAR app offers image support, audio support, and native language assistance, along with several features that make learning easier. What is the KLAR resource bank? The KLAR resource bank is a digital toolbox for teachers, mentors, and HR/training managers. It includes ready-made tasks, templates, and guides that make it easy to integrate the KLAR app into training programs. The resource bank provides support in vocational Norwegian training, language support, and integration, as well as webinars for professional development. What is the KLAR competence package? The KLAR competence package is designed to support both educational institutions and workplaces with continuous follow-up throughout the entire process.
