KLIMA-PUR® PassivHaus bioPolyurethane Windows

KLIMA-PUR® is a new top-class in energy-saving Windows & Doors meeting with PassivHaus standards able to reduce 30-40% the energy demand for space heating and cooling in buildings. KLIMA-PUR® is inspired in wooden window frames, but using the most insulating material: foamed Polyurethane. This excellent material is able to provide the lowest thermal transmittance (Uf=0.80 W/m2K), thus being one of the most energy-efficient window frames while showing other innovative benefits related to its single solid material structure compared to competitors (PVC, Aluminium and Fiberglass) such as: 1) Absence of thermal bridges (PUR is an extremely low thermal conductive material) 2) No water condensation / air convection (PUR it’s a foamed solid material non-permeable to water or gases) 3) Increased dimensional stability (PUR is a thermoset material with resilient memory shape) 4) Easy recycling at end-of-life (frames are made from single material, no separation step is needed) 5) Possibility to incorporate 65-75% biobased content (coming soon at commercial stage)
