From 2024, the emissions platform KlimaLink will make CO2e emissions data of travel components and entire trips visible at the point of sale. This will make it possible to compare arrivals and departures by air, bus and rail, as well as different types of accommodation, rental car categories and later also on-site activity offers. This requires a uniform and industry-wide recognised calculation standard that makes emissions data available via a digital platform of the tourism industry - KlimaLink.
